Katherine Heigl reveals how growing up living in a white bubble affected the way she raised her multiracial family. She wanted to channel this energy into helping her adopted girls. Heigl is married to Josh Kelley for 13 years, have a son, Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. They have adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 years old in 2009. followed by Adalaide who was 8 years old and is Black as of 2012.
